Join us for a Historical Walking Tour – October 1

Join the Groton Historical Society for a historical walking tour of our village on Saturday, October 1 at 3:15 PM.  The tour will begin at the Peter Paul House at 1203 Scott Highway in Groton Center.  It is the perfect thing to do after the Fall Foliage parade!  Find out what used to be in the village center and hear fun stories and commentary about past residents, buildings and businesses!  The Peter Paul House will be open all day to the public as well to peruse historical artifacts and photos from Groton history.

We will also be selling several varieties of daffodils, hyacinths, and muscari also called grape hyacinth, bulbs chosen specifically for the GHS by Glover Rd. Gardener Deborah Jurist. Plant them this fall for a thrilling start to spring 2017. Color and fragrance specifically for our Groton climate.  Copies of Mister Glover’s Groton will also be for sale.  And….of course….pie, by the slice until it runs out!

See you then!
