The 1890 census records for Groton, VT were unfortunately destroyed by a fire in the 1920's along with those for most of the United States. As a substitute, the Business Directory of Groton, VT published in 1888 by Hamilton Childs is reproduced here for a record of the family heads living or working in Groton at that time.
